Kobushi Abiru (小節 あびる) is one of Itoshiki Nozomu's students in 2-He who sorta likes him. She's also the resident Bandage Babe of the show. Her schoolmates are not ignorant of this, and have a rumor flying that her father abuses her daily for the lulz, which meant Itoshiki-sensei and Chie-sensei had to take action...

... and as they find out, such rumors turned out to be a whole bunch of nonsense. The true cause of Abiru's injuries, along with extreme klutziness when it comes to sports, was her extreme obsession with animal tails (With rare exceptions); whenever there's a wagging tail, she can't help but want to pull it. This obsession is to the point that she starts mistaking other stuff for tails. Whenever she does pull a tail, she puts it in display on her tail collection (Which also includes rubbings) on her room's wall... how the heck is it possible for her dad to turn a blind eye to her madness!? o_O Well, she pretends they're fake...

Speaking of her dad, even after the truth, every other person still thinks he's a maniac who abuses his daughter daily., as well as being one of those badasses who can utilize moe manga weaponry to good use. In truth, he's one of the more normal (Don't say normal!) humans in that demented show from whence he and his daughter came from... but maybe there's truth in the the latter part of the rumor.

小節 あびる (Kobushi Abiru), when added with a を (wo), can be read as "拳[を]浴びる" (kobushi (wo) abiru), or "to bathe in fists", or, to be most specific, bathe in the fists of angry tailless animals.
