Onmyouji (shikigami users) are one of the most useful classes in Sengoku Rance. They're ridiculously powerful, especially with their attack which hits all enemies at once, but tend to come quite late in the lineup meaning you can usually only use one attack per battle (and late through it at that, which can be quite the setback), are not too good with their defense, and cost a bomb to recruit.

But they're fucking POWERFUL!

You do not want to be fighting a force containing two of these. Unless they are on the front row for some bizarre reason, such as the AI being stupid.
