It may die a horrible, painful death... or it might just disappear into thin air. Or, if it was marked inappropriately, it might just get to stay.Clay (or Max in European countries) is a mischievous, tennis-playing rascal who became part of the Mario gang. It is debatable on weather he is the most useless Mario Gang member. He idolizes both Alex a Mario tennis champion, and Mario, despite the fact that Mario is an ass sometimes. On a rare occasion, Clay has actually been a source of usefulness, but rarely is this the case.
Personality
Clay can sometimes come off as a brat. His rash mischievous actions also cause him to be called "dweeb" by his friend, Ace. He also seems to either be rebellious or fun-loving, which often gets the gang in more trouble. He is athletic, and seems to play tennis with a passion, although this passion is now over ruled by his new "friends". He was described as a rascal, but weather all of this classifies him as such is beyond the stars.

Clay's main role in an episode usually ends up being something where Clay does something stupid. This either gets the Mario Gang in trouble or causes one of the villains to turn him into a baby, which pisses of Mario and usually the other members of the gang. Sometimes, his role was more pivotal, but not much.
Clay usually has at least one blooper in the reel dedicated to himself doing an extreme stunt or a work of special effects called a Psych-out. These could involve anything from faking his eyeballs being knocked out to propelling himself with his ass out a glass window, or even making a goofy unexpected cameo.
Clay and Ace will have an upcoming role in the Mario and Luigi Adaption, who will stow away with Mario and Bowser as they journey to the BeanBean Kingdom to save Peach's voice from Cackletta.
