Mages are people or creatures that use magic as their main source of attack and or income. Almost every Puyo character that matters ever has some sort of magic thus making them a mage. Mages never carry a weapon. They carry magical staves, wands, paint brushes, card or musical instruments that help enhance their magical abilities.
Epic Mages
As soon as a mage gets the ability to use a real weapon they become epic mages. Epic mages can use things like swords. hammers and guns! These mages are not to be messed with or they will kick your ass so hard you'll never sit again. Their magic abilities are more often then not over 9000.
