Danmaku. Also referred to as Curtain Fire. It's like, bullets, bullets everywhere. Very slow moving bullets everywhere, though. But even though they're slow, one hit and you're dead.
Oh, and they're shiny. Bullets aren't supposed to emit light like that, but these ones do, cause they're awesome.
Most Japs or hardcore danmaku fans know they come from Humungous Robos, but most of us know of cute little girls that can make you hope she never wished you dead or rape your eyes.
