Street Fighter (better known as Street Fighter II) is a fighting game series by Capcom and is the best fighting game series out there. Some may argue Mortal Kombat is better, but they are just violent retards.

Street Fighter has been known to team up with other companies like SNK, Marvel Comics and Tatsunoko which for the most part results in Epic Win!

Street Fighter is very cultural Deversed when it comes to characters however they gave the oversight to Canada and add more Americans

Characters in Street Fighter

Ryu (リュウ)
Hailing from Japan he is the main character, is the spiky-haired protagonist who's power level is over 9000 and is best friends with Ken. easiest character to use cause everyone knows how to use the Hadōken(波動拳) (if you don't then you fail! also press ↓, ↘, →, and then "punch" in a smooth motion)
Ken Masters (ケン・マスターズ)
The American pretty boy who is a fan favourite, he's move set is no different from his best friend Ryu's but the excuse it they trained together so they must fight the same! Ken's dream is to beat Ryu!
Gen (元)
Old Man from China. No one plays as him any more.
Sagat (サガット)
From Thailand, he is the original bad guy of the series before M. Bison and Akuma. He wears an eye patch so you know he's totally evil!
Chun-Li (チュンリー, 春麗)
The woman with buns and thighs of steel! She is from China and works for the Interpol as an under cover agent. She was added for sex appeal and Lightning Kick!
Blanka (ブランカ)
Orange haired and green skinned jungle man who was raise in Brazil. He makes Pikachu's thunder attack look like a simple static shock.
Edmond Honda (エドモンド 本田)
Simply known as E. Honda is a sumo wrestler of Japanese origin who wear Kabuki makeup. He has the same move set as Chun-Li but with punches instead of kicks.
Guile (ガイル)
Is the result of trying to make a tough army like American character who in result comes off looking like the leader of gay rights movement. His full name is William F. Guile and has rank of colonel in the US Army. It is also worth noting that he was played by Jean Claude Van Damme in the live action film.
Dhalsim (ダルシム)
Stretchy rubber man made of Indian Voodoo magic! Every other word out of his mouth is Yoga. You've been warned! He has a small meme based off an old street fighter toy advert where the announcer asks What's a Dhalsim!?
Zangief (ザンギエフ, Зангиев)
HE IS THE RED CYCLONE! Though he uses what come across as American wrestling moves only seen on WWE he is actually from Russia. He has a thing for stick men's heads between his thighs as he delivers the Spinning Pile Driver. He is also one of the hardest characters to use.
Balrog
In Japan he is known as Mike Bison(マイク・バイソン) commonly abbreviated as M. Bison which is the name of an evil dude in other street fighter games and is a completely different character. LOLWTF! He is a boxer from the USA.
Vega
Now, to prove how silly and bad translations can get. Vega's name in Japan is Balrog (バルログ). Vega is another pretty boy but instead of rugged handsome that Ken executes, Vega looks suave and mysterious. He is almost always wearing a mask that hides his face and is also the only character with a weapon. A long set of claws that make Wolverine envious. He is the only person alive who can do Spanish ninjitsu and make clown pants look good. he's from Spain.
M. Bison
We've come full circle. His Japanese name is Vega(ベガ). The character is a recurring boss and antagonist he tries to run the world's government with his crime syndicate the Shadaloo (シャドルー) No one knows where he came from.
Cammy (キャミィ)
The English Shadaloo assassin who#s long slender legs can not rival the power of Chun-Li's. She tries to make up for this by having abs of steel while her buns are more like cotton. In the recent live-action movie she is played by Kylie Minogue.
Fei-Long (フェイロン, 飛龍)
Dragon warrior from Hong-Kong . . . . he's not that interesting. See Ryu for a better more original character.
Akuma
Is not to be confused with Akuma though both are quite evil. Known in Japan as Gouki (豪鬼) Akuma means devil! He is the Yang to Ryu's Ying. He is the dark Hadōken. He wants Ryu to join him.
Rose (ローズ)
A fortune teller from Italy, she has no strength as a fighter so she wields shiny desu! magical powers. Only girl who can fight in a long skirt and non revealing clothing.
Dan Hibiki (火引 弾)
He wants so badly to be the guy like Ryu but he fails so bad it can be turned around as Epic Win. He is from Hong Kong.
Sakura Kasugano (春日野 さくら)
Cause every game needs a high school girl complete with Japanese school girl uniform. Similar to Amy Rose in her obsession with Ryu, but where Amy comes off as a complete psycho, Sakura is a cute sweet girl who is friendly, funny and CAN SERIOUSLY KICK YOUR ASS! She was so popular she spawned a spin off called Rival Schools.
Rufus (ルーファス)
Not very interesting. Worth mention cause his stomach appears to use the same jiggle gravity as the boobs in DoA X-treme Beach Volleyball. Also note how the fat ass comes from the USA and has only appeared in the most recent game.
Crimson Viper (クリムゾン・ヴァイパー)
Like Rose, she can't really fight either. She was given special shiny desu! Science powers! and works testing weapons made by S.I.N. Real name is Maya (マヤ), and she has a daughter named Lauren. Her country of Origin is unknown.
El Fuerte (エル・フォルテ)
IT'S SUPER DYNAMIC COOKING TIME! Masked Mexican luchador. He balances his love of wrestling and cooking very well. He is the next in line to be Dan with his antics. He isn't the best fighter and works via fake outs.
Seth
Antagonist in the latest game. He is the chief Executive Officer of S.I.N., a weapons manufacturer. He is one of the cheapest characters to ever appear in a fighting game as he can use moves from pretty much every other street character ever. His secret laboratory is in Bermuda.
