A human is a bipedal life-form that commonly views itself as the most intelligent species in the world. They are commonly known as people and they usually come in two varieties, boys and girls.

I could write paragraph after paragraph about what a human is, but if you actually payed attention in biology class at school that would patronize you.

Humans are usually only referred to as humans in science or fantasy fiction, where other intelligent life forms exist and call us humans, usually scornfully.

In Homestuck

The narrative and dialogue of Homestuck goes to great lengths to make clear the differences between humans and trolls. When Karkat, one of the trolls, is accused of trolling, he responds by saying the humans do quite a lot of humanning... Can't disagree with that.

In Fire Emblem 9&10

In these games, the other race of Laguz use "human" as a derogatory word. The non-derogatory word for humans in this universe is apparently "beorc".
