The Kimono Girls are a quintet of sisters in Pokémon 2, whom all perform dances at the Euctreak Dance Theater. They are also skilled Pokémon Trainers, and each wields of of the then 5 evolutions of Eevee. Their role in the game is minimal however, despite their connection to Eevee. You are required to defeat them, however, in order to obtain the ability to find Ho-oh on the Bell Tower or Lugia on the Whirlpool Islands.
In the remakes HeartGold and SoulSilver, their role was expanded slightly to have them appear as reoccurring characters, much like Diamond and Pearl's Cynthia. However, unlike speculation suggested, two more sisters wielding Leafeon and Glaceon were not added. Also unlike many fan-remakes and speculations, the Kimono Girls in HeartGold and SoulSilver did not wear different colored kimonos to represent their Eevee's type. However, and event in which they summon the legendary Pokémon via a dancing ritual was added into the game.
They are all gentle and kind, and are very much similar in personality. They represent the traditional geshia of Japan, whom also dance for entertainment purposes in elaborate kimonos.
