Interestingly, Green mushrooms do not appear in any Mario RPGs aside from the Mario and Luigi series, where they are called 1-Up Shrooms and can revive a fallen character with half HP. Additionally, there are also 1-Up Supers, which are beefed-up 1-Up shrooms that revive a character with full HP. | Interestingly, Green mushrooms do not appear in any Mario RPGs aside from the Mario and Luigi series, where they are called 1-Up Shrooms and can revive a fallen character with half HP. A Green mushroom, also commonly called a 1-up Mushroom or an Extra Life, is a magical mushroom that will give you an extra life upon consumption. This makes them good snacks to eat when on your death bed.
Often, they resemble red mushrooms, but sometimes, they bear "1-Up" on their caps instead of white spots, making them even more difficult to name.
