Traditionally, it is in most [[RPG]] element systems as [[Fire element|Fire]]'s weakness, without an awesome [[Status effect]] to go with it, though [[Epic Battle Fantasy 3]] downgraded Water to a "lame" element status, replacing it with [[Ice element|Ice]]. [[Pokemon Trading Card Game|Some]] [[Golden Sun|Games]] have gone as far as making the two interchangeable despite common sense, causing [[controversy]].    

Being a master of Water element is great for traveling, as you can [[Pokemon|manipulate tidal waves]] or [[Compile Worlds|control the flow of water]] to your liking and swim or surf or what have you to your ultimate destination.
