Windows Seven is the next upcoming version of Windows. It is a misnomer, as it is actually version 6.1. Microsoft officially call it "Windows 7", which is even more confusing, because their next major version will actually be called "Windows 7" series-wise.

While Windows still sucks in general, Windows Seven is amazing. It is said to be what Windows Vista was supposed to be, had MS not gone and been stupid for 3 years (deja vu, anyone?).

In European countries, Windows Seven is expected to ship without Internet Explorer or any other browser. This will surely revert us to the bad old days where your ISP would send you a disc with a crappy adware-infected browser that's just a ripoff of IE anyway.

Currently, there are several theories floating around concerning exactly how Microsoft will avoid packaging IE with the operating system. The most sensible one so far is that iexplore.exe will be encrypted, and therefore unable to run until the user solves a CAPTCHA, the answer for which is the decryption key.
