The Portal series is a series of video games in which you must think with portals. The apparent reward for the original game is delicious cake, but as we all know, the cake is a lie.

The original game was a spin-off of Half-Life. There was then a fan-made 2D Portal game made in Adobe Flash which was surprisingly faithful to the original physics. Most recently, we've seen an official sequel, aptly titled Portal 2, which vastly expanded gameplay and storyline alike.

Portal puzzles

A portal puzzle is a thread commonly posted on imageboards where people try to solve a puzzle using portals. They are usually subtle and vague, to encourage humor.
