Kinoshita Hideyoshi is, simply put, the ultimate subject of gender confusion. Appearing in that new-fangled anime Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, he's clearly a girl and a tomboy at that, though people still use masculine pronouns to refer to him with. And while Word of God declares him biologically male, and therefore technically a trap, this is largely ignored not only by the entire cast (other than himself) but by many watchers of the series too.
In the sixth episode, the problem was more or less solved by declaring Hideyoshi a gender of its own, thus at any pool or onsen you will find, behind a curtain of some description, Hideyoshi's Changing Room.
