A qsade is a small furry animal native to the southern continent of the planet Botara. It looks like a small furball, and has two eyes which are on stalks. It's carnivorous, and hides very sharp teeth underneath its fur, so its prey is often taken in by its cute appearance before being bitten and eaten.

It has 4 tiny feet on the bottom of it for it to move, but they're never seen unless you somehow manage to pick it up and turn it over. while this means it's pretty slow, it's never really needed to be fast, as everything else tends to underestimate it.

They have a fairly short lifespan, only about a year or two at the most. They reproduce by asexual fragmentation, where once a qsade matures, a small section of the qsade falls off and later grows into a adult qsade itself. Parents don't stick around to raise the children, they just leave them where they drop and move on.
