Island (InstanceClass, 4)
From Compile Worlds
An island is a body of land surrounded by water. Therefore technically every bit of land on the planet is an island, but the word is usually used to refer to the smaller pieces. Small enough islands are often remote and uninhabited and are therefore perfect for hosting the adventures of some crazy series or another. It is, in fact, very rare for an adventure to ever happen on part of a large continent.
Sometimes, you get floating islands. Unlike regular islands, these are not surrounded by water (unless they crash into the ocean, as is often required by the plot), but instead are surrounded by air on all sides, above and below, and use some various means of defying gravity.
