Trinitrotoluene (or TNT for short) is a highly explosive substance, and is among the most common cliché explosives seen in games (along with dynamite, C4 and nondescript bombs). Ironically, and unbelievably, it was initially synthesized as a pigment, and the explosive properties were completely ignored!
