World's theme, "Goddess' Whisper", has survived appearing throughout the series since [[Magical Drop II]], and it's pretty damn epic. Not as epic as say, Fortune's theme, but it's pretty high up there. In her first and fourth appearances, different themes play for World, causing many frowny faces on disappointed fans.

The World is one of the key characters in the Magical Drop games, being the original final boss, before the Empress and Fortune stole her thunder. She winded up being the main character and a semi-mascot instead, though, so it's totally okay. As such, World is the ultimate fanservice character of any puzzle game; she wears nothing but a single, translucent ribbon, which just loves to fall off her boobs at every inappropriate time possible. Don't let her cute voice and public display of her rather shapely body fool you: she usually means serious business in Magical Drop fights and is generally one of the trickier AI opponents. As a character, she usually muses about the little, beautiful things in life (i.e. not Star's singing) and generally treats most of the cast very nicely compared to her fellow Magical Droppers, being only shown to really have a rivalry with Empress in Magical Drop III and Magical Drop V.
