A terribly Engrish LOL

LOL stands for Laugh Out Loud. It is one of the oldest acronyms in the book. If you didn't know about it before now, you are a n00b.

Variations

Lul: is Dutch for dick.
Lulz: is a Corruption of LOL, apparently used all over /b/.
Lolz: is LOL's phreakspeak form, not to be confused with the above lulz.
Loooool: (with any number of o's) is an Extension of LOL, used for emphasis.
Lawl: is also used for emphasis.
Law: is the second best career for making fun of, the first being politics.
