'''In Sorte Diaboli''' is [[Dimmu Borgir]]'s [[8]]th [[studio album]]. It was [[number 1]] on the [[chart|charts]] in [[Norway]], and [[people]] in [[America]] liked it a lot too. [[The Serpentine Offering]] and [[The Sacrilegious Scorn]] are both [[single|singles]] off of the album, and they both have [[music video]]s.

== Production ==
The album is without a doubt the most [[epic]] ever recorded, with fucking [[brutal]] [[Orchestral]] sounds and [[keyboard|keyboards]] along with chugging [[Guitar|guitars]] mostly in D standard. It most likely easy for them to write it, since all they had to do was make 10 songs with "hail [[Satan]] [[666]] [[rawr]]". However, they stayed away from their more Satanic [[atomosphere]] from earlier albums, since Satan [[obvious]]ly isn't epic enough to be a part of this album. Instead, they took a more [[formal]] approach, creating the first in a six-part [[concept]] album. [[Hellhammer]], their [[drummer]], also wows us with his [[amazing]] [[bass]] [[pedal]] [[skills]]. A good [[example]] of this is during the first [[verse]] of [[The Serpentine Offering]].
