The universe is a vast expanse of very low density. It, by definition, contains every particle (and, for that matter, every point of vacuum) that exists.

Some people talk about separate universes, "parallel" universes, "multiverses" and so on, but this is quite blasphemous to the meaning of the word, as nothing can exist outside of the universe as mentioned above. If such regions of space exist, they are just that: other regions of the universe that are difficult or impossible to access from our region.
