'''Sonic Drift 2''', or '''Sonic Drift Racing''' to those in the [[United Kingdom]], is [[SEGA]]'s [[Number:2|second]] attempt at making a [[Sonic Series|Sonic]] [[racing game]], and the only sequel to [[Sonic Drift]]...well, unless you count [[Sonic and SEGA Allstars Racing]] anyway. It is much like the first game, but there are more drivers, and more [[original]] courses, although [[Sonic the Hedgehog 2]] inspired courses are present as well. The game play was also made more difficult by improving the [[rubberband AI]] and "balancing" the characters. It is also the first Sonic racing game to reach an international audience without the aid of a [[Sonic Mega Collection|collection]] [[Sonic Gems Collection|anthology]].

Most notable was the inclusion of [[Fang the Sniper]], as well as more emphasis on [[Sonic and Knuckles]] remixes. Despite this, I guess the [[Sonic Fandom|purists]] still hated the game because [[Sonic shorts|cars suck]]...
