Deep Core has one of the most awesome final zone themes ever. It is only second to [[Wrapped in Black]], the [[Doomsday Zone]], and the [[True Area 53]] theme.

*Deep Core is the only final zone to have it's Allegro theme on the soundtrack.
*The name of the boss, the Egg Wizard, was discovered by viewing the Eggmen's voice in the [[sound test]].
*This is also one of the few final zones in a Sonic game to not take place in outer space; instead Deep Core is inside a Volcano.
